General note
One copy has written on the front cover that it was given to Msgr. Donald MacPherson by a Keiller MacKay. This was almost certainly Pictou County native, Lieutenant-Colonel John Keiller MacKay (1888-1970) - a soldier, lawyer and jurist who was also a graduate of St. Francis Xavier and a long-term resident of Toronto.
General note
It is also written on the front cover that the item was gifted by Sr. Sarah MacPherson.
