Item is a photograph of the Samson Electric Driven Coal Cutter in the model coal mine at the Province of Nova Scotia Exhibit, Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto that ran August 28 - September 12, 1936. This picture shows a view looking down the coal face, displaying a portion of the face undercut, drilled and ready to shoot, after which, the loaders shovel the broken coal onto the pans.
