File consists of correspondence from the records of Indian Affairs Superintendent, A.J. Boyd. Topics include funds given by the Department to band members, a report on Indian Schools in Nova Scotia, the care of children, requisition and purchasing of supplies, road repair, and a letter regarding the election of Gabriel Silliboy of Whycocomagh Reserve as "tribal chief," succeeding the late John Denny of Eskasoni Reserve.
