Comunn Gàidhlig Cheap Breatuinn, or the Gaelic Society of Cape Breton, was founded at Sydney, Nova Scotia to foster and promote the use of the Gaelic language at home and abroad and to cultivate the language, poetry and music of the Scottish Highlands.
Custodial history
Some records were donated by Kaye MacDonald and the Society. The custodial history of the remainder of the records is unknown.
Scope and content
Fonds consists of the constitution, by-laws, newsletters, programs, correspondence, addresses, clippings, questionnaires, and reports.
