Item is a photograph of DOSCO blast furnace operations, showing the skip hoist leading to the furnace, left, with the bins, centre, and brown bridge above it. Stockpiles of raw materials for the furnace are at right. A grab on the brown bridge moved raw materials from the stockpiles into a transfer car. This dumped the material into the bins from where it was loaded into "skip buckets," moving up a skip hoist for eventual use in the furnace. Materials included coke, iron ore, and limestone.
