The People's School was an educational program directed toward the workers of Eastern Nova Scotia and Cape Breton and broadcast over C.J.F.X. in Antigonish. It dealt with economic, social, educational and political issues current in the mid-twentieth century.

File also consists of one folio containing one discrete item: a pamphlet and typescript of the autobiographical "My Story" by Rev. M. M. Coady.

File consists of photographs and includes early images of Mr. Coleman and Tommy Trenchard (the projectionist) outside the Strand Theatre. This same image includes a poster for the 1929 film Condemned featuring Ann Harding, Ronald Colman and Louis Wolheim. Other images include the interior of the Strand Theatre, and image of Mr. Coleman and owner Edwin Lynn.

Four images feature the Godino Twins, originally from Samar in the Phillipines. The Godino brothers were conjoined twins who entertained from a young age and performed on stage in North American during the 1920s. Two of the images are signed indicating they performed in Sydney, N.S. in 1935.
