File consists of a small booklet containing a roll of honour of the war dead of the Cape Breton Highlanders during World War II. The roll of honour includes each member's regimental number, rank, name, company, date killed, and their origins. The booklet was printed in N.V. Groningen, Holland by Dijkstra's Drukkerij.

Item is one typewritten Cape Breton Highlanders regimental history which includes information about the First World War, including various battalions (85th, 185th, 193rd, 219th), Battle Honours, and casualties; changes made to the regiment in the inter-war years; and, a list of Honorary Colonels from 1871 to 1939. A note was typewritten at the bottom of page 3 in 1944 to announce that the Highlanders had taken part in a battle on the Arielli River in Italy and on the same page handwritten annotations were added to the list of colonels sometime after 1959.

Item is one handwritten letter from Curdis Karrel to Sylvia Glickman. He writes that he has no intention of getting engaged to anyone, one of the reasons being that he has recently been sent to a new station and is now on the 431 “Iroquois” Squadron and doing active operations, which he asks her to not tell his family.
