The collection consists of audio and video interviews, games, hymns, traditional chants, and community events pertaining to Eskasoni and other Mi'kmaq communities in Nova Scotia between the 1940's to the 2000's, both in the Mi'kmaw and English languages. This collection consists of 8 boxes of sound recordings, moving images, and artefacts belonging to Sarah Denny, her children and other community members and organizations. These recordings document culturally and historically significant peoples, events, and traditions of the L'nu/Mi'kmaq.

Donation consists of home recordings on reel, VHS tape recordings of performances and two home recordings on 78 records and one Celtic label 78: one box of audio reels, 4 VHS tapes and 3 78 record albums has been donated to date with accruals expected. A second accrual was donated on February 21st consisting of 234 audio cassettes.

File contains papers related to the life of Alex Campbell Morrison of Sydney, who served during World War 1. Included in the file are clippings featuring an interview with Alex Morrison concerning his days as a soldier, a dispersal certificate for Alex Campbell Morrison, and information about Mr. Morrison being recognized for his military service and the Vimy Ridge assault. The file also contains a photocopy of a list of soldiers at Witley Camp, and letters from Alex Morrison to his father, from Witley Camp, Surrey, England, dated February 22nd, 1917, from Alex Morrison to his mother, written in Witley Camp, dated July 22nd 1917, from Alex Morrison to his mother, written from Witley Camp, dated August 26th, 1917, and from Alex Morrison to his father, written from Aldershot Camp, N.S., dated July 11th, 1916.
