The documents record both the founding of Bras d'Or sea Products Ltd and the Association of Small and Independent Cape Breton Fish Processors. The first folio contains materials from May 1988 to March 1989. The second folio contains materials from April 1989 to October 1991. There is also a digital audio recording of the December, 1988 initial meeting with Greg MacLeod chairing the meeting of the fish processors and can be found in series D, file D.12 and D.13.
