This file consists of two folios arranged chronologically from 1988 to 1991. They contain minutes, correspondence, fish processor survey, press releases, newspaper clipping, and a booklet on fish exports. The documents record both the founding of Bras d'Or sea Products Ltd and the Association of Small and Independent Cape Breton Fish Processors. The first folio contains materials from May 1988 to March 1989. The second folio contains materials from April 1989 to October 1991. There is also a digital audio recording of the December, 1988 initial meeting with Greg MacLeod chairing the meeting of the fish processors and can be found in series D, file D.12 and D.13. A seperate document file on the creation of the Cape Breton Fisheries Advisory Board can be found in this sub-series, file C.3.b
This file contains a forty two page document titled, "An Executive Briefing: The Cape Breton Fishery" presented by the Fisheries Advisory Board to the provincial and federal ministers of fisheries and is dated May, 1987; a bound report titled "Final Report on Organization Project Cape Breton Fisheries Advisory Board" written by Greg MacLeod and presented to DEVCO's Industrial Development Division in June 1988. There are also minutes of board meetings, project reports, correspondence.

In 1942, Frank Robertson initiated a job printing business in New Waterford which he operated until 1966. In 1968, he joined the Cape Breton Bird Society and soon began writing his weekly column For the Birds for the Cape Breton Post. In 1978 he began a series for CBC.
