Scope and content

File consists of multiple versions of a regimental history of the Cape Breton Highlanders including an original handwritten, two typescript, and two photocopies. The history covers the period of 1871 to 1947 and includes history on the pre-World War I, World War I, World War II, periods (predominantly WWII) as well as a list of commanding officers from 1871 to 1946 as well as affiliated cadet corps units.
