              Frank F. Robertson

              In 1942, Frank Robertson initiated a job printing business in New Waterford which he operated until 1966. In 1968, he joined the Cape Breton Bird Society and soon began writing his weekly column For the Birds for the Cape Breton Post. In 1978 he began a series for CBC.

              Papers include:

              1. Correspondence and papers pertaining to publication of an anthology of verse by Cape Breton authors, 192-1930. Original and typescript, 2 cm.
              2. “For the Birds”, a newspaper column by Mr. Robertson, 22 November 1969 to May 1976. Typescript and clippings (5 folios), 11 cm.
