Scope and content

This fonds consists of records relating to the architecture in Inverness County and post war immigration of the Dutch to Inverness County. Brother Paul Sterk was born in Deventer, Holland in 1934; in 1954, he came to New Glasgow to teach carpentry with seven other brothers of the Congregation of the Brothers of Our Lady of the Seven Sorrows. In 1964, he became Director of students' residence at Mabou and in 1965, Superior of Mary's Hill and the Brother's Farm. In 1987 he retired and returned to Holland in 1993.
