Scope and content
Fonds consists of subscription lists and correspondence concerning same to the business managers, Rev. Sam Campbell and Rev. J.J. Bryden, 1928-1932. Included are letters from A.J. Mackenzie, Christmas Island, 1933, John A. MacDougall of Glace Bay and Lauchlin MacGillivray, Antigonish. Mosgladh, published in English and Gaelic, was the official organ of the Scottish Catholic Society of the Diocese of Antigonish. This periodical ran from February 1928 to December 1932. The Beaton Institute holds the complete run.

Rev. Sam Campbell was resident curate in Iona from 1927-1929 and manager of payments for the Mosgladh.
Rev. John James Bryden also collected and advertized for the Mosgladh during his time as pastor at Grand Mira.
